🏆 The Superlatives 🏆
Most Fashionable: Shiloh Sanders & Shadeur Sanders
The college football players and brothers proved they are more than just football by walking on the Louis Vuitton Men’s Fall/Winter 2024 Show. The brothers are showing us all that there are layers to them, ok?
And coming in as Least Fashionable: Jason Kelce
As Jason Kelce said on his podcast with his brother Travis Kelce, he doesn’t like to play dress up; he likes to play football. While Travis was the more fashionable brother, we will certainly miss seeing Jason’s game-day fashion choices next season if he decides to retire, as the rumors suggest.
🏈 It’s Blow Out Season 🏈
Are we talking hair? No, Wild Card Weekend in the NFL. Here’s our recap of the first round of eliminations.
Oh, how the mighty have fallen: The 2023 Super Bowl contenders, the Philadelphia Eagles, didn’t make it far this postseason with their loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs scored 32 to the Eagles 9. Better luck next season, boys!
Bye ‘Boys: The Dallas Cowboys may have played at home, but Green Bay told them to GO PACK! The Packers beat “America’s” team at home with a final score of Packers 48, Cowboys 32. This was their first home loss all season & what a loss it was.
New school vs. old school: Rookie Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud took on seasoned veteran Cleveland Browns quarterback Joe Flacco. The rookie had a standout game while Flacco threw two pick 6’s. The Texans won with a final score of 45 to 14. Don’t know what a pick 6 is? Keep scrolling!
Sayanora:The Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins were also eliminated during Wild Card Weekend. Honestly, the most notable thing about those games was the weather.

🎾 Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi 🎾
Americans in Melbourne or whatever Jay-Z & Kanye said. Here are some of the Americans who have progressed to the 3rd round in the Australian Open:
Coco Gauff
Ben Shelton
Sloane Stephens
Alycia Parks
Sebastian Korda
Taylor Fritz
Tommy Paul
Not Americans, but still…..The top-seeded men (1. Novak Djokovic; 2. Carlos Alcaraz) and women (1. Iga Swiatek; 2. Aryna Sabalenka) are still in the running for the title, so be sure to tune in as they continue their quests.
🏒All They Do Is Win, Win, Win….Until They Don’t. 🏒
The Florida Panthers were on a nine-game winning streak until the Devil came for them. Their streak was broken by the New Jersey Devils.
The Winnipeg Jets ended their eight-game winning streak with a loss against the Philadelphia Flyers.
The Seattle Kraken had their longest winning streak in franchise history, going nine games strong until they faced off against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Edmonton Oilers are the only NHL team still going strong with their winning streak. They have won 12 straight games dating back to their December matchup against the New Jersey Devils. The Devil didn’t win with them!
It’s Cold Outside, But The Tea Is Hot
Today on Coaches Gone Wild, we all want to be Like Mike.
🏈 Mike who? Tomlin 🏈
Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin felt a little spicy after their loss to the Buffalo Bills. After a reporter started asking Coach Tomlin about the end of his contract, he walked off mid-question. We guess he didn’t feel like answering.
🏀 Mike who? Brown 🏀
Sacramento Kings coach Mike Brown was ejected from their game vs the Milwaukee Bucks after an outburst regarding a perceived missed call. In the post-game press conference, Coach Brown pulled out his laptop to show everyone exactly where the refs had him f’d up. He had receipts…and so did the NBA, as they slapped him with a $50k fine for his antics.
Your sports term of the week is: Pick 6.
In football, a pick 6 is when a player on defense intercepts the ball and runs it back for a touchdown, resulting in six points.
Think of it like this: You’re dating somebody, and you think y’all are heading towards marriage, except someone not only takes your boo, but also marries them.
“OMG, I love your coat!”
There may have been frigid temps across the country, but these fans & athletes kept it cute & warm with these fabulous coats.
Here are a few that caught our eye:
Taylor made all the splash with this custom jacket made by fellow football WAG (Wives and Girlfriends), Kristin Juszcyk, wife of SF 49ers fullback Kyle Juszcyk. She’s also made coats for a few other familiar names like our girl Simone Biles and our old teenage heartthrob Taylor Lautner.
Check out her online shop here.
Next, we have our eye on Swiss luxury brand, Vetements, floral velvet puffer jacket, as worn by KC Chiefs Defensive Tackle Chris Jones.
This coat single-handedly cured our January doldrums. It’s giving spring in the middle of winter, and we are here for it.
Last, we absolutely adore this satin number from Washington Wizard’s Kyle Kuzma.
Love it just as much as us? Here are two similar options that you can snatch up for your wardrobe.
Try the Banana Republic Maja satin trench or this satin dad coat from ASOS. Happy shopping!
