🏆 The Superlatives 🏆
The Most Ambitious: Steph Curry
.@StephenCurry30 wants to help kids find their inner confidence with his book, “I Am Extraordinary.”
He tells @Jerickaduncan about his focus on children’s literacy and his potential post-basketball future: “I have an interest in leveraging every part of my influence for good.”

While promoting his new children’s book, I am Extraordinary, Steph Curry was asked if he would ever consider a future in politics and he said, “Maybe.” Throughout his basketball career, the Golden State point guard has been known to be actively involved in giving back to the community. While his answer was non-committal, it would not be shocking to see Steph use his platform to lean into local or national politics. Ok, Steph -keep being extraordinary!
The Most Unlikely: Aaron Rodgers

Rumor has it that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has reached out to NY Jets QB Aaron Rodgers to be a potential running mate for his presidential campaign in 2024. Per his campaign sources, RFK Jr. plans to announce his choice on March 26 in Oakland, California. So far, Rodgers has declined to respond, so there has not been any confirmation on his end. But I mean… we did have a reality star as a president… so… child, anything could happen at this point! Welcome to the Wild West of American Politics.

🏈 No Take Backs: This 2024 NFL Free Agency period has been cray cray! Since day one, every team... except the Cowboys… have been trading players like a Pokémon convention. Here is a breakdown of a few of the more notable moves:
Quarterbacks
Russ got a job after all… the 35-year-old QB signed a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers for $1.2M. Why so low? Well, with the $38M the Broncos have to pay out, Pittsburgh essentially got a really good deal, and who doesn’t love a good deal?
In a surprising move, Minnesota Vikings’ Kirk Cousins has signed a deal to become the new Atlanta Falcons’ QB. Kirk’s magician… I mean, agent… got him a four-year, $180M contract with $100M guaranteed. The Falcons are hoping Kirk got his groove back after the 35-year-old's season-ending Achilles injury back in October 2023.
Joe Flacco signed a deal with the Colts to be the team’s veteran backup. The 39-year-old secured a one-year $8.7M contract with $4.5M guaranteed. The Colts are playing chess, not checkers, with this move. They plan to have Flacco help mentor Colts starting QB, Anthony Richardson, in his sophomore season. This also gives the team coverage in case Richardson proves to still be a bit fragile after he was injured during his rookie season. Hopefully, Anthony respects his elders.
Running Backs
The New York Giants’ RB Saquon Barkley will be heading to Philly as they ink a three-year $37.5M deal with $26M guaranteed. Former Saquon fanboy and Giants RB, Tiki Barber, didn’t take the news very well. He jokingly said, “He’s dead to us now” during his radio show. Barkley saw the words via tweet and jumped to conclusions faster than Chelsea from Love is Blind (Did y’all watch the reunion? A whole mess.)
Baltimore Ravens signed Tennessee Titan RB Derrick Henry to a two-year $16M contract; looks like the Ravens are trying to make sure MVP QB Lamar Jackson is stacked with weapons next season.
🏒 Throw Them Bows, Eh?: NY Rangers rookie Matt Rempe thought he was in a 2000s Nelly video and elbowed New Jersey Devils defenseman Jonas Siegenthaler in the head during their Monday night game. The Devils coach and players were less than impressed with Rempe’s behavior, especially given that Siegenthaler was unable to return for the third period due to the injury. Despite the Canadian forward being new in the league and only having played ten games since his debut on February 18th, he’s creating quite the reputation.
While the Rangers went on to win 3-1 against the Devils, Rempe’s four-game suspension means he will miss out on some critical games against other teams in the Eastern Conference. Let’s see if this little timeout makes him settle down; otherwise, opposing players may be less inclined to take a ‘spare the rod’ approach. In other words, he better be careful, or he may get that a… you get the point.
🏀 March Madness, is that you? Oh yes! Believe it or not, we are three months into 2024, and that means college basketball’s NCAA tournament is on the horizon! Selection Sunday is this weekend on St. Patty’s Day (Sunday, March 17th) at 8 pm. So get ready to fill out those terribly inaccurate brackets! (We know, we know. Had that one team from the middle of nowhere not won, your bracket would’ve been perfect.)

The men’s tournament will kick off with the First Four on March 19-20, and the First Round will begin March 21-22. However, this year (and many years before now, but no one seemed to notice), everyone is looking forward to watching the Women’s tournament.
Oh, and would ya look at that, it coincides with Women’s History Month! We love it when a plan comes together.
The Women’s tournament kicks off with the First Four on March 20-21, and the First Round on March 22-23. Women’s tournament storylines to watch include:
South Carolina trying to ride the wave of their undefeated season to yet another NCAA championship. Hopefully, it will go better than it did last year.
Caitlin Clark…IYKYK…and if you don’t, please send us the address of the rock under which you live.
Angel Reese and the ladies at LSU as they attempt to win back-to-back NCAA championships.
It’s USC, UCLA, and Stanford's last tournament before the dissolution of the PAC 12 conference. Big names like Cameron Brink and JuJu Watkins will be people to watch as they try to carry their respective teams to new heights.
🎾 I Know We Not Talkin’ About Tennis:…. Actually, yes, we are…cuz ya girl Coco Gauff won her 4th round matchup against Elise Mertens at Indian Wells on her 20th birthday…who doesn’t love a Piscean icon? Not only that, but it comes with a matching Vogue cover? Girl, stop..we can’t catch up or keep up when your foot remains on all of our necks. Good luck to her in her semifinals matchup.
🎾 Speaking of Indian Wells: Djokovic, what you got going on? After losing in the Australian Open semis, the GOAT has decided to take it down a notch by losing in the 3rd round to..what’s his name, oh yes, 123rd ranked Luca Nardi. I mean, everyone has to lose at some point, but let’s not make this a thing, Novak. Anywho, if you’re interested in watching some tennis, the Indian Wells finals will take place this weekend, and following that, the Miami Open will begin Monday, March 18.

On This Episode of House Hunters: Russ’ latest move to the Steelers means that his family will be relocating for the third time in five years. Russ and wife Ciara left their $26M Seattle home to move to Denver in 2022 after he signed with the Broncos. The couple purchased a $25M estate in Denver that they plan to list on the market. But they may need to find a new real estate agent, because they haven’t sold the house in Seattle yet. As of now, they have a little more than $50M tied up in real estate. Maybe the couple should get an Airbnb when they get to Pittsburgh… you know, see if Pittsburgh is a good fit before moving in like a stage 5 clinger.

Lovers and Friends: Jalen Green, the 22-year-old Houston Rockets’ star, is apparently auditioning for the role of Winston in “How Stella Got Her Groove Back” because he’s expecting a baby with his 39-year-old socialite and media personality girlfriend, Draya Michele. Now, never you mind that Draya already has a son that’s Jalen’s age. That’s their business. Who knows… maybe the two pre-adults can hang out and play video games… or whatever the youngins are doing these days. All we’ll say is, “Congrats!”

Since the NCAA tournament is creeping up in our rearview mirrors, let’s talk about a “bracket buster”...cuz it’ll probably happen to you.
A bracket buster is a term used to refer to what happens when a low-ranked, usually mid-major, team upsets a highly-ranked team and throws everyone’s bracket into a tizzy.
It’s like when you didn’t think a certain presidential candidate would win because this is a joke…right?...but then he does, and now your whole life is a battle for basic survival and human rights…so unlikely, right?

As we head into spring let's talk transitional outerwear. We love these cozy, cute cardigans we’ve been seeing on a few of our favs.
First off, you can’t go wrong keeping it classic like our friends Steph Curry and Chris Paul in their gray cardigans.
We found two for you, including one from Madewell:
And one from ZARA:
Ready to spice things up with some color instead? How about this striped cardigan seen on Portland Trailblazers’ Jabari Walker?
